Deaconess Hospital is currently seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for the Older Adult Mental Health Unit. This is 32 hour per week position requiring some weekends and evenings. Candidates must be a CTRS and have at least 2 years of experience preferred. Experience in Expressive/Creative Therapies is a plus. The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions for individual patients in accordance with the patient’s needs, capabilities, and interests. The CTRS works with the interdisciplinary treatment team to assess and meet the patient’s needs through delivery of a variety of treatment services. In addition, the CTRS is responsible for completing initial patient assessments, progress notes, plans of care, transfer notes, and discharge summaries. Possible Recreational therapist position at Brookwood Retirement Community!   Brookwood Retirement Community is a 230 b ed facility providing Independent Living, Assist ed Living, Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, and Long Term Nursing Care in Sharonville , OH .   Brookwood is potentially looking for a Recreational therapist full time on their 40 b ed sub-acute rehabilitation unit providing therapeutic programming and working as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
