CDARTA Membership

As a professional member of CDARTA you are entitled to many benefits, including:

• Discounts at CDARTA and national/regional conferences

• Opportunity to network with other professionals and students at CDARTA events and meetings

• Mailings from CDARTA including announcements of upcoming CEU opportunities and other events

• Professional newsletter

• Helping to promote Recreational Therapy

How to join CDARTA

All members of CDARTA must be members of ATRA.  ATRA is the professional organization under which CDARTA was founded and continues to operate.  If you are not a member of ATRA and would like to join, please visit http://atra-online.com/forms/membership_application.htm

Nearly all other chapters charge an annual fee.  CDARTA has no membership fee!  This is part of an effort to ease the financial burden of professional membership.  We would rather have you take what used to be the cost of membership ($25.00) and the money you'll save at our Annual Workshop ($20.00) and apply it to your ATRA membership.  This will effectively take the cost of your ATRA membership from $125 to $80!

To become a member of CDARTA, simply follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are eligible for membership.  Please review this form to find out.
2. Fill out the membership form by either printing the form and filling it out by hand or by typing your information into the form directly (requires MS Word) - CDARTA Membership
3. Submit via e-mail or mail to:

   REMEMBER TO UPDATE YOUR CDARTA REGISTRATION ANNUALLY WHEN YOU RENEW YOUR ATRA MEMBERSHIP!
