Wheeling Through the World – An Adapted Sports & Recreation Exposition and Demonstration

Come join us for a day of learning, interaction and participation!  If you are interested in learning about the many opportunities to keep you active or if you work with clients who may be interested, Miami Valley Hospital is offering this FREE EVENT for you!  We will be featuring speakers, an exposition area, and adapted sport exhibitions.

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND CTRSs CAN EARN .2 CEUs. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.

The morning will feature 2 presentations which will count toward NCTRC recertification (.2 CEUs).  The first will be on injury prevention for wheelchair users, specifically related to sports, recreation, and active leisure lifestyles.  The second will be a speaker from the Dayton Metroparks who will discuss accessibility and programs for wheelchair users.
